任何事物只要與“藝術”一詞扯上關係,都總會容易給人較有深度的感覺。而時裝品牌與藝術家的聯乘合作,已不再新鮮,如早前Louis Vuitton採用莫奈的印象派畫作來做手袋,以至較近期Calvin Klein與Andy Warhol基金會的合作。而今夏,Fendi的男裝系列亦走上藝術之路,找來英國近代著名畫家Sue Tilley為其新系列袋款畫龍點精。
Art is always related to an in-depth beauty, hence it is common to have a collaboration between fashion brands and artists. For instance, the Monet-printed handbag of Louis Vuitton, and Calvin Klein’s collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation. This summer, the Fendi SS18 menswear collection is also on the road of art and collaborate with the British artist, Sue Tilley for the new bags.

袋上的畫作

Fendi的男裝創意總監Silvia Venturini Fendi就邀來英國畫家Sue Tilley,為Fendi 2018春夏男裝系列的服飾與配件上添上畫作。繼插畫家兼雕刻家John Booth在2016 年和Fendi男裝系列合作後,Sue Tilley是第二位和品牌合作的客席藝術家。她的作品經放大或縮小後,點綴一系列成衣單品和配飾,例如皮革托特包上的香蕉皮插畫、已喝光的雞尾酒杯插畫,以及生鏽的鑰匙圈圖案等等,Sue Tilley把倫敦街角被人遺棄的事物,在奢侈品上呈現出來,帶來視覺衝擊。

Painting on the Bag

The Creative Director of Menswear at Fendi, Silvia Venturini Fendi, has invited the Bristish artist Sue Tilley to decorate the luxury clothes and bags of the Fendi SS18 menswear collection, the second collaborating artist after fashion illustrator and ceramicist John Booth in 2016. For the collection,Tilley elaborates on the low-key London through her cartoonish pictures of banana skins, empty cocktail glass, rusty keys and so on, bringing a huge visual impact.
