早前,英國名廚戈登.拉姆齊宣佈旗下位於倫敦的Bread Street Kitchen餐廳推出 “ VEGANUARY”純素菜單,為何一個一向對素食嗤之以鼻的自大廚神甘願“打倒昨日 的我”?原因除了是他那“我做什么也比別 人出色!”的好勝心外,更重要的,是他認為應該在潮流及趨勢中,給顧客更多的選擇機會!這令我聯想到,沃爾沃汽車集團的高性能品牌Polestar宣告在2019年正式投產的混合動力汽車Polestar 1。

眾所周知,有關綠色能源、環保汽車概念等絕非新鮮事,而不少傳統汽車製造商近年皆投入大量的資源研發環保概念汽車。根據國際能源署資料統計,與2016年相比,2017年的電動汽車銷量大幅增長了54%。調查更發現中國電動汽車的銷量佔據了全球銷量的一半以上。國際能源署表示,地方政府應當出臺相關政策鼓勵消費者購買電動汽車,這樣不僅能夠改善地球環境,而且還會推動電動汽車充電基礎設施的建設。報告中提到,電動汽車市場規模在逐漸壯大,政府應當適應現在的市場環境,繼續出臺一系列政策和措施支持電動汽車的發展。國際能源署還表示,如果政府能夠繼續大力支持電動汽車的發展,2030年 全球電動汽車保有量有望達到2.2億輛,其中包括1.3億輛純電動汽車 和9,000萬輛插電式混合動力汽車。而Polestar 1的出現,大概就是沃爾沃向地球送上的一份綠色小禮物,更重要的,是新車將於國內作生產基地。同時,也正好給環保車主們提供一個更新鮮的選擇機會。

Polestar的首款車型——Polestar 1將於2019年年中開始生產。作為一款高性能混合動力汽車,它在純電動模式下續航里程高達150公里, 是目前市場上純電動模式下續航里程最長的混合動力汽車。Polestar 1 搭載富豪四缸Drive-E發動機,600匹馬力的最大功率和1,000 Nm的峰值扭矩,牢固地確立了它在高性能汽車細分市場的領先地位。廠方預計 Polestar 1 將可在全新Polestar位於成都的生產基地正式交付,同時,成都生產基地內還建立品牌體驗中心和試車跑道,以便顧客測試新車各項性能。

同時,根據官方資料,Polestar的所有未來車型均將採用純電動動力系統。Polestar 2將在2019年底開始生產,它也將是富豪汽車集團的首款純電動車型。Polestar 2是一款中級純電動汽車,與特斯拉Model 3同一級別。Polestar 2目前正處於工程開發階段,將在2019年底之前開始生產,產量將高於Polestar 1。至於Polestar 3目前處於最終設計階段, 是一款較大尺寸的純電動SUV,它將成為電動高性能和駕駛操控性的最現代化的體現,產量和價格介於Polestar 1和Polestar 2之間。

British chef Gordon Ramsay celebrated “Veganuary” with special vegan menus at Bread Street Kitchen in London. Such appreciation for veganism might come as a surprise, given Ramsay’s track record for mocking vegetarians. Apart from his motto of doing better than others, more importantly, he believes that it is trendy to give customers more choices. This reminds me of the Polestar 1, the hybrid sports car launched in 2019 by Polestar, the standalone performance electrification brand of Volvo Car Group.

The concept of green energy and green vehicles is nothing new, many automakers have invested a lot to develop eco-friendly cars in recent years. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), the global sales of the new electric car in 2017 increased 54% compared to 2016, and China buys more than half of the world’s new electric cars. The IEA encouraged local governments to introduce favorable policies for electric car buyers, so as to accelerate investment in electric vehicle charging infrastructure, support the electric vehicle development and ultimately improve the environment. Aiming at an even more ambitious plan, IAE hopes there will have 220 million electric vehicles on the road by 2030, including 90 million plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. The emergence of the Polestar 1 is a green gift by Volvo Car Group, with the production centre in China.

As the first model positioned as a high-performance GT of Polestar, the Polestar 1 is a plug-in hybrid coupe ready to produce in mid-2019. It boasts a 150-km range in EV-only mode and delivers its thrilling 600 hp and 1,000 Nm performance. It will be put into mass production and on sale at the Chengdu base, with a brand experience center and a circuit for testing vehicles.

According to official sources, Polestar’s future models will go 100% electric. A first all-electric vehicle, the Polestar 2, is coming in late 2019 and becoming Tesla Model 3’s rival. The entry-level model is currently in the prototyping phase, and will enter production in midto-late 2019 with a higher production volume than the Polestar 1. Nearing the final stages of design, the Polestar 3 will be a larger pure electric coupe-style SUV all about drivability and design, with a production volume and price between the Polestar 1 and 2.
